Another atmospheric gem. Best listened to from beginning to end, to get the full impact. Some lyrical refrain connects this one (and apparently the forthcoming one) to the debut, and there are songs from each album that sort of inversely mirror each other. It seems WNR are building their own darkly romantic musical mythos, and the journey is well worth going on.

Tracks like Isolation, Child of Light, and Broken Hymns deliver the sorrowful and icy tone of this album, elevated by the stirring cello compositions of Raphael Weinroth-Browne. The album delivers a deeply satisfying crescendo in Becoming Intangible before stirring the soul once again with Epilogue.
